Megan is a board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology. She has worked in healthcare since 2014, gaining extensive experience across health promotion, critical care, and dermatology.

Megan first earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and worked in community health before attending nursing school. As a nurse, she spent seven years as a certified critical care nurse, primarily in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit at the University of Chicago Medical Center. During that time, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University, where she discovered her passion for dermatology.

To advance her clinical expertise, Megan completed a BOTOX® and dermal fillers course through the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Beverly Hills, CA, under the instruction of Dr. Sam Assassa. She later earned a post-graduate dermatology specialization certificate at Florida Atlantic University, mentored by esteemed leaders in the field, Dr. Margaret Bobonich and Ms. Mary Nolan. During this time, she gained valuable hands-on experience working alongside Dr. Van Dam and other highly experienced dermatologists in the Chicagoland area.

Since joining Pinnacle Dermatology, Megan has continued her cosmetic training with Allergan-certified trainers, regularly attends educational conferences, and has achieved the prestigious national certification in dermatology as a nurse practitioner (DCNP). Her clinical interests include medical dermatology, focusing on acne, rashes, hair loss, and skin cancer screenings.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys traveling to new cities and national parks for hiking trips. A wellness and nutrition enthusiast, she loves cooking, spending time with her working dog, and exploring the world of dog training and dog sports.
