Laurel Poole is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical dermatology for adults and children. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy skin at every stage of life, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, comprehensive skin cancer screenings, and the early detection of skin cancer.

With more than 20 years of experience in dermatology, Laurel provides care for a wide range of skin conditions and values building long-term relationships with her patients. She believes in educating patients about their skin health and providing personalized, thoughtful care that helps them feel confident in managing and protecting their skin.

Originally from a small town in Maine, Laurel earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of New Hampshire, graduating summa cum laude. She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Emory University in 2004 and has practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology ever since.
