Lauren Seale-Sarkipato specializes in medical and surgical dermatology for patients of all ages.
Dr. Seale-Sarkipato is a board-certified general dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical dermatology for patients of all ages. Her areas of expertise include skin of color and hair disorders. Born in Flint, Michigan, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where she was the inaugural member of the Irene and Morris B. Kessler Presidential Scholarship program and graduated with honors. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2018, where she received multiple awards for academic achievement and clinical excellence. She then completed her intern year and dermatology residency at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan.

During her residency, Lauren started and ran a specialty clinic for patients with non-scarring and scarring alopecia, developing her ability to care for the unique concerns of patients dealing with hair loss. She also led diversity initiatives within the department and established quarterly grand rounds sessions focused on providing education on how to care for patients from all walks of life.
